(Washington DC, September 2, 2010) A delegation from the American Lebanese Coalition (ALC) concluded a meeting with the newly appointed US Ambassador to Lebanon, Ms. Maura Connelly in Washington DC.

The delegation congratulated Ambassador Connelly on her appointment and wished her great success in her new position. The discussion focused on the central issues currently facing Lebanon, the US-Lebanon’s bilateral relations, the United States’ continuous commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability, and the implementation of relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions. The ALC delegation particularly stressed the importance of US military and security assistance to the LAF and the ISF.

The delegation included ALC President Milad Zohrob, Vice Presidents Dr. Joseph Gebeily and Dr. Elie Semaan and board member Paul El Hindi.
